About the venue;
The Valley

mountain(1).png

Engage with the great outdoors in this special retreat, designed to allow you the space you need to let go and be yourself.

Jenny and her family have been caretakers of the Tung Hang Mei valley in which Ark Eden is situated for over 30 years, and over this time have created somewhat of a magical wilderness. The feel of the valley is truly unlike anything in Hong Kong, and remains to most a hidden secret.

When you step into the fertile valley, you step into a womb of creation. A place to be held, to express, and to become in-touch with what many of us forget, living here in Hong Kong.

Most of the trees you'll see on the valley's surrounding hillsides have been planted in the countless tree-planting initiatives Jenny has led during her time spent in the valley. Jenny's mission has been to create a framework of accessible programs that can bring Hong Kong residents to understand the importance of environmental preservation and regeneration.

Ark Eden inspires with the three core messages of Permaculture:

EARTH CARE - PEOPLE CARE - FAIR SHARE

The valley has become a refuge for those seeking both inspiration and escape from the hustle and bustle of life in Hong Kong - adults & children alike. With the pandemic locking many people to Hong Kong, and with uncertain times ahead, we feel that it is time to open up the valley to a series of accessible and affordable wellness retreats and activities for those who need them.

This day retreat into the jungle aims to do just that.

Matt will prepare a selection of seasonal Ayurvedic-inspired dishes for lunch, packed with Prana and carefully selected ingredients. The food is designed to ground & balance the body - for all body types to enjoy.

Alongside a warm cup of homemade spiced cacao, Bex will guide a very special Sacred Art workshop, which will allow you to connect to your intuitive expression and allow for a creative flow to allow you to reconnect to your creative flow. You'll discover gifts within you to take this practice beyond the retreat and into your lives.

BREATHWORK UNDER THE TREES

love-and-romance(1)(1).png

We'll explore a powerful method of self-regulation, called Conscious Connected Breathing (CCB). This session will help you clear your mind and regulate your nervous system - creating space and clarity where there was not before. CCB also helps with emotional release for anything that has felt stagnant or stuck.

Enjoy some homemade cake & tea whilst integrating the breathwork session, creating closure for the day beside the fire. Feel warm and renewed as you prepare to leave Ark Eden with fresh insight into your life and the energy to carry it forwards.
