About this unique event
On April 1st 2023 we will collaborate with one of our favourite Sound Facilitators in Hong Kong to bring you a unique event, as part of our ‘IN THE JUNGLE’ series.

We will fuse the power of the Breath with the power of sound in order to create an experience that will allow an inner sense of openness, connectivity and release. Then we’ll feed you.
Breathwork is a powerful tool which uses a very specific breathing technique to release stress and tension in the body, stimulate creativity, and unlock feelings of freedom, clarity & bliss. The Conscious Connected Breath (CCB) is becoming more and more popular worldwide as it is recognised as a tool that can be complimentary to cognitive therapy, helping people let go of old, unhelpful and stagnant patterns of thought and behaviour.
Sound baths are an ancient method of working with gongs and bowls to initiate a therapeutic and restorative processes within the body. Performed with the person lying down, they are gentle, yet immersive. They can have profound impacts on a person’s energy as the subtle vibrations help to move any blockages that might be lingering, leaving the person feel renewed and vital afterwards.
When fused together, these techniques become even more effective. During the Breathwork, the body is charged with energy, activating the sympathetic (fight and flight) nervous response, and then brought to a place of relaxation, activating the parasympathetic (rest and digest) response. This allows the body to be more open, in energetic terms, to the medicine of the gongs and bowls.

The sessions will take place back-to-back and will last for a total of 2.5 hours. You won’t need to do anything but lie down, breathe and relax.
Following the sessions will be a warm, hearty plant-based brunch to nourish your mind, body & soul
YOUR HOSTS
MATTHEW TEAGUE
TRANS-FORMATIONAL BREATHWORK
Matthew is a student and a teacher of techniques of bodily and emotional regulation. He shares practices that have helped him and those around him dis-cover and process unconscious patterning and integrate generational trauma. His main focuses include harnessing the breath in a therapeutic and conscious setting, guided meditation and self-affirmation techniques, mindful food practices and introducing people to methods of self-therapy. Matthew’s aim is to provide a safe container in which people can be comfortable being themselves.
SOUND BATH
As a certified sound therapist, Tata has been blessed to share sound vibration in Hong Kong, Koh Phangan, Ubud, Edinburgh and Egypt – from jungle to city, sacred lands to fairy lands. Trained by leaders in the field, Tata has studied under Martha at Red Door and attended Gong Master Training with Don Concreaux. She has also undertaken Integrative Vibration Training with Dimitri Miteff and has completed 15 hours of Crystal Bowl Healing Training with Roni Miteff. Tata finds sound to be the most powerful modality. It is her mission to share the benefits of sound vibration with people in Hong Kong.
