We offer Yoga classes for all body types and levels of ability. Our practices include Asana, Pranayama, Mantra and Meditation techniques to allow for an individual to experience their whole being, from their body, to their breath and ultimately towards the more subtle levels of energy and vibration.

It is important to practice for our individual body types to encourage a state of balance and well-being in our lives. Yoga at baba's is based on Ayurvedic wisdom, meaning that practices will take into account each individual’s doshic constitution (See more information on Ayuveda here), especially if the session is led one-to-one. We believe that, in the same way that different foods affect different individuals, certain types of practices will cause differing and unique effects as well.

MORNING CONNECTION

A morning meditative practice to activate your breath and body to feel vital for your day ahead. This session involves asana (postures), meditation and breathing exercises (pranayama) to invigorate and remove lethargy in the body.


Group and 1:1 options.


Level: Beginner - Advanced


Recommended: Yoga mat, water, a yoga strap or scarf and a yoga block if needed.


Note: Please do not eat food or drink coffee before this practice.

DEEP YIN

60 MINUTES   |       ONLINE ( from the comfort of your own home )

A deep stretching of the body’s connective tissues. Poses are held for around 3-5 minutes to allow for openings and movement of the trapped energy and emotions held in areas such as the upper body, back and hips. 

​

Group and 1:1 options

Level: Intermediate - Advanced

​

Recommended: Yoga mat, yoga block, blankets and pillows

​

Note: This class is not recommended for beginners, have a try of our Restorative Yoga class first!

RESTORATIVE YOGA

60 MINUTES   |       ONLINE ( from the comfort of your own home )

Gentle and slow practice of asanas for self-care, usually with the support of props such as folded blankets and pillows. Poses are held for longer periods of time to relax the body, still the mind and rejuvenate the soul.

Group and 1:1 options.

Level: Beginner - Advanced

​

Recommended: Yoga mat, yoga block, blankets and pillows. 

​

Note: Make sure you are in an undisturbed place, where you can fully rest and relax. You can follow this session with Yoga Nidra for a 120 minute relaxation session.

YOGA NIDRA (Yogic sleep)

45 MINUTES   |       ONLINE ( from the comfort of your own home )

Yogic Nidra is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage during your night's sleep, induced by a guided meditation. Relieve stress and completely refresh your being with this nourishing rest.
