CERTIFIED BREATHWORK FACILITATOR ; AYURVEDIC LIFESTYLE CONSULTANT HATHA YOGA INSTRUCTOR ; MSc ECOLOGICAL CITIES ; BSc HUMAN GEOGRAPHY & PLANNING ; PERMACULTURE DESIGN CERTIFIED.

Matt has a Western background in human geography, food systems and permaculture, coupled with a deepening interest in Eastern approaches of Ayurveda and energetics. This approach has given him a well-rounded and holistic scope on the planetary and human dilemmas that we face, and has pushed him to ask; how can we fuse the wisdom of both to create solutions for our inner and outer biomes?

As a trauma-informed Breathwork facilitator, registered yoga teacher and holistic energy coach, Matt is a student and a teacher of techniques of both bodily and emotional regulation. He shares practices that have helped him and those around him dis-cover and process unconscious patterning and integrate generational trauma. His main focuses include harnessing the breath in a therapeutic and conscious setting, guided meditation and self-affirmation techniques, mindful food practices and introducing people to methods of self-therapy.

 

Matt’s aim is to provide a safe container in which people can be comfortable being themselves.

Session One - The Bridge

To help you begin your journey with one-to-one breathwork, I start with what is called the ‘Bridge’ exercise. This session combines gentle Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) with a dialogue process designed to explore what’s happening within you. During this session, we’ll connect with different parts of yourself—often unresolved emotional aspects from childhood—and encourage a dialogue between them.

 

This process often leads to a sense of release and resolution, helping you feel more at ease with these parts of yourself. It’s a profound way to begin training your inner awareness of sensations and emotional patterns. The ‘Bridge’ we create acts as a tool you can carry into your daily life and future sessions, allowing you to navigate your inner landscape with greater confidence and clarity.​

Session Two - The DIve

The second session takes you deeper into the breathwork experience. This is a more standard CCB session, guided by me, but without the dialogue we used in the first session. Instead, the focus is on connecting fully to the breath and your body.

 

If appropriate and agreed upon, I may incorporate hands-on bodywork to support the release of tension and to foster a deeper sense of safety and grounding. This session is designed to help you further integrate the insights from the first session while providing a space for deeper emotional and physical release.

I offer a sliding scale to ensure the sessions are accessible while honouring the energy required for this work.

Location

Sessions are conducted in-person and include travel to a location of your choice within Hong Kong. 

Limited Availability

 

Due to the level of presence and energy required, I work with a limited number of people one-to-one. I gauge readiness based on the questions you bring and the inner awareness you demonstrate. If this resonates with you, I look forward to holding space for your journey.

Session Length 

Each session lasts 1.5 to 2 hours and includes an introduction, drop-in on current themes,  short integration period.
